Ferry Building Excursion Jan 2020
Vol. 2: Sitting at the doc of a bay....
Then, you’d get into your 89 Toyota Camry or Mazda 3
Not worry about the gas prices that didnt seem too high or too low for your popcorn budget.
You’d call up your besties, and with excitement chant, “San Francisco, San Francisco”
Omg, I remembered telling my friends we’d leave as early as 12am just to see the morning on the 5 freeway or PcH before cutting back into the 101 off the grapevine pass way. Those were our days, listening to anything to keep us awake and being stuck as the last driver awake.
Now: We book our flight reservations into SFO ride the BART and pray our money is still accepted by the time we land. that’s how much a drink at the airport, parking fees, and maybe a bite to eat on the flight there. (If the food or service is good) it’s a short trip.
Then: laughing about which roads to take and what hostile we’re good. What greasy pan eateries were to be at and where all the live music and action was at.
Now: I’m shelling out even more money, ok so now it starts on the Airtrain, to the BART off at Colima (cute quite town just outside 30min of SF mission by train) It doesn’t stop we had to transfer to the SamTrans which does not accept MUNI Clipper cards so we’re basically like (fck) 🤬 but I will tell you, Daly City, home just outside SF is GOLD. We took the bus 120 to the shopping mall called, “Serramonte Mall” this place had everything and they weren’t stingy on samples. We stopped for toiletries and things I didn't want to check my bag for. Sephora for the win, and Diaso for the clutch.
So PrO TIP: SF is not worth flying into anymore
Way tooo expensive
If you can manage to round up 2 other friends, split the cost of gas four ways maintence is kept well on your vehicle. I say, GO for it! Life is too damn short.
Stay in Colima or Daly City
Have your wheels for the road trip
Have your wheels for late night fun
Hang out at Broken Record Bar
And live it up, before the prices are too expensive for Daly City even.
